SIR Draft Voter List 2026 (Special Intensive Revision)

The Draft Voter List for 2026 has been released by the Election Commission of India (ECI). This list shows the voters who have been registered and also indicates if any voter's name has been removed from the list. Citizens can now check whether their name is on the Draft Voter List.

What is Special Intensive Revision (SIR)?

The Election Commission of India conducted a Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. Through this process, detailed voter information has been collected. After review, the draft voter list was prepared and released. Those missing from the list can apply to be included (Form 6), and those whose names were removed can object and request inclusion.

Important Dates: Claims and Objections Period

From December 16 to January 15, citizens can file claims and objections. Those whose names are not on the list can fill Form 6 and submit it. Also, those who reached voting age (18 years or above) between April 1 and August 2024 can apply for inclusion. At the same time, those whose names were wrongly removed can submit objections. The Revenue Officer and Chief Electoral Officer can also hear and decide on these objections.

How to Check Draft Voter List Name?

There are three easy methods to check your name in the draft voter list:

Method 1: EPIC Number Search

You can search using your EPIC number. Enter the EPIC number and CAPTCHA, then click to search. The system will show whether your name is in the voter list.

Method 2: General Information Search

Search based on general information including your name, parents or spouse name, age, state, district, assembly segment, and polling station code after filling in the search will show in the voter list.

Method 3: Mobile Number Search

You can also search using your mobile number. Enter your mobile number and CAPTCHA, then request OTP. After verification, the system will display your voter list status.
